Introducing MedPrep in collaboration with Tutors SA

UCAT

Tutors SA is pleased to introduce MedPrep Pty Ltd, a newly formed company specialising in providing high quality UCAT preparation courses for students in school years 9 – 12. MedPrep’s goal is to help students excel in the clinical aptitude test, which forms part of the selection process for entry into medicine, dentistry and selected clinical sciences. The company is founded in February 2019 by its directors Dr Don Dissanayake and Mr Esrom Leaman.

MedPrep’s mission is to develop the skills and knowledge of high school students to gain entry into undergraduate medical programs through classroom-based as well as online UCAT training.

Since Tutors SA’s inception of the UCAT courses in 2018, we received great response in student enrolments due to our exceptional quality teaching standards by highly qualified and experienced academic and industry professionals to meet the student demands for this highly sought after course.

Moving forward starting from July 2019, with the full support and collaboration with Tutors SA, we are excited to roll out a brand new set of UCAT courses under MedPrep with a well-defined course structure and a high quality, original question bank.

Tutors SA encourages all our current Pre-UCAT students, as well as any other students considering pursuing a career in the medical or dental field to enrol in the courses offered through MedPrep.

Dr. Don Wenura Dissanayake
Managing Director and co-founder of MedPrep, Managing Director of Tutors SA and STEM Centre Australia
PhD (Electronic Engineering), The University of Adelaide; Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems) with First Class Honours, The University of Adelaide
Don is an enthusiastic and energetic Research Scientist, a Research and Development Engineer, Educator, and an Entrepreneur possessing over 15 years of multi/interdisciplinary research and development expertise in Electrical and Electronic, Embedded Computer Systems, and Biomedical Engineering. He has a relentless passion and recognised ability to teach and extensive tutoring experience for more than 15 years for school years 5 – 12. Don has tutored and mentored more than 500 students to achieve successful outcomes in mathematics, physics and undergraduate engineering, computer science and mathematics subjects.

 

Esrom Leaman
Operations Director and co-founder of MedPrep
Esrom is currently a 4th year medical student at the University of Adelaide, and is also undertaking a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) at the University of Southern Queensland. He has been tutoring for more than three years and has helped students achieve fantastic results in a range of subjects. He has a particular interest in the UCAT and Medical Interviews, and is looking forward to the opportunity to deliver a brand new, high quality UCAT training program under MedPrep.
