Dr. Suzanne Mashtoub
Dr Suzanne Mashtoub is a NHMRC Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Assistant Professor and Adjunct Lecturer based at the Gastroenterology Department, Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Suzanne was awarded her PhD in Medicine (Physiology) with the prestigious Adelaide University Dean’s Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence.
Suzanne has supervised over 40 University students (PhD, Honours and 3rd year students), tutored medical students, published 15 research articles and presented at 19 international and 29 national conferences. Furthermore, Suzanne has been the recipient of over 30 awards and travel grants including the 2015 SA Tall Poppy Award, 2015 SA Channel 9 Young Achiever Sciences and Technology Award, the 2011 SA Channel 9 Young Achiever Leadership Award, the 2010 and 2013 Trevor Prescott Freemasons Scholarship and the 2008 Top Honours in Physiology Cohort Award. Suzanne has over 10 years of private and group tuition experience in Mathematics and the Sciences for years 5 – 12 and UMAT students.
