Content Development and Systems Coordinator
Thumula Ranaweera is a key member of the TutorsSA Administration Team, working as the Content Development and Systems Coordinator. Thumula has been involved with Tutors SA since 2021, contributing to a wide range of educational projects before commencing in his full-time role in January 2026.
With a strong background in educational content development, Thumula has played an integral role in designing and coordinating curriculum-aligned resources for Years 5–10 Mathematics and English, as well as specialised programs including the ACER Ignite STEM course. His work supports TutorsSA’s mission to deliver high-quality, engaging learning materials that enhance student outcomes across diverse academic pathways.
In addition to content coordination, Thumula oversees and supports the software systems that underpin TutorsSA’s current and future projects. With a strong focus on platform development, system optimisation, and digital workflows, he brings a structured and detail-oriented approach to improving functionality, scalability, and reliability across the organisation’s software platforms and processes.
Known for his friendly, calm, and organised working style, Thumula is valued for his ability to manage complex tasks with precision while maintaining a collaborative and approachable presence. He is passionate about mathematics, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, and takes pride in contributing to a positive, efficient, and student-focused environment at TutorsSA. When not working on content or systems, he enjoys a good coffee and tackling new challenges with curiosity and enthusiasm.
