What is Private School ACER® Scholarship Test?
The ACER® Scholarship Test (Level 1) , conducted by the Australian Council for Education and Research (ACER®), is a prestigious set of academic assessments used by private, independent, and Catholic schools across Australia. These tests are designed to identify exceptionally talented students and provide them with academic scholarships, and Level 1 aiming for year 7 high school entry. The successful candidates can avail of financial aid and numerous other educational opportunities that enhance their learning journey.
Who is the ACER® Scholarship Test for?
We are offering “Secondary Level – 1”- For students entering Year 7 in 2028. Therefore, we will be opening opportunities for students currently in school years 5 in 2026. Generally, tests are held in February each year, and hence it is anticipated the next test will be held in February 2027, for 2028 school entrance.

How can my child enrol in the ACER® Scholarship Test Preparation Course?
1. Register for the Selection Test
Due to the high demand, a Selection Test will be held to select and group a limited number of students. It is compulsory to take the test to get selected to the Tutors SA scholarship classes.
2. Sit for the Selection Test
Tutors SA will release the results in due time after the test is taken and advice further on the enrolment process to the e-mail address provided upon registration.
3. Receive results with the Offer of Enrolment

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Tutors SA offers a specialised Scholarship Preparation Course for students currently in Year 5 (2026), targeting entry into competitive programs including ACER® Scholarship Tests, Ignite Program Entry Exam, STEM Pathways, organised by the Australian Council for Education and Research (ACER), and AAS Scholarship Tests conducted by Academic Assessment Services (AAS).
The main course runs from July to February, providing a structured and comprehensive preparation pathway aligned with the requirements of these highly competitive examinations.
This integrated program offered at Tutors SA covers all key components across ACER®, Ignite, STEM, and AAS assessments within a single course. If your child is planning to sit one or multiple of these exams, only one enrolment is required – ensuring a streamlined, efficient, and high-value preparation experience.

What is the selection process for the Tutors SA ACER® Scholarship Test Course?
