Joanne holds a Certificate III in Children’s Services (2008), a Diploma in Children’s Services (2009), and a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Pre-service, 2011), which have equipped her with the foundational knowledge to support student growth and development.
Joanne’s professional journey spans roles as a classroom teacher, leadership team member, and International Baccalaureate Coordinator. She has also undertaken key leadership positions, including Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal, and Acting Principal. Through these roles, Joanne has successfully led initiatives that have improved student outcomes, supported staff development, and strengthened school communities.
Joanne’s notable achievements include implementing evidence-based programs to improve early reading outcomes, facilitating Professional Learning Communities to embed High Impact Teaching Strategies, and leading collaborative planning sessions to align curriculum outcomes with inquiry-based pedagogy.
