Scye Collen

Mathematics & Science Tutor

Scye is an experienced and accomplished tutor and has been aiding other students in excellence since 2022. She graduated in 2023 as Vice Captain and with a 99.95 ATAR, a score only possible for 36 QLD students each year and was subsequently named the Dux of her school. In Year 12, she received a perfect score for English Literature and further excelled in all her other subjects, including French, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Throughout high school she received Top of Year each year, which was a testament to her dedication as a student. After completing a school exchange in France in 2022, she has further developed as a both a student and young individual.

Scye is currently completing a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences/ Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University. Her expertise continues to grow during her studies as a medical student, specialising in mathematics, chemistry and biology tutoring. Throughout school, she worked closely as a mathematics tutor to younger students, gifting her many years of experience to understand how to best approach the needs of various learners.

As a tutor, Scye recognises the intense time and dedication it takes to first grasp concepts and then excel, and is determined to ensure her students reach their full potential to have every option available to them in their future. She has unique skill for creating trust between her and her students, which reflects in their academic development and confident attitude towards learning.
