What is STEM Pathways program exam?
The STEM program stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, is focus in hard science, develops critical thinking and problem solving ability.
Who is the STEM pathways program for?
We are targeting “Secondary Level – 1”- For students entering Year 7 in 2025. Therefore, we will be opening opportunities for students currently in school years 5 in 2023. Generally, tests are held in February each year, and hence it is anticipated the next test will be held in February 2024, for 2025 school entrance.
How can my child enroll in the STEM Preparation Course?
1. Register for the Selection Test
Due to the high demand, a Selection Test will be held to select and group a limited number of students. It is compulsory to take the test to get selected to the Tutors SA scholarship classes.
2. Sit for the Selection Test
Tutors SA will release the results in due time after the test is taken and advice further on the enrolment process to the e-mail address provided upon registration.
3. Receive results with the Offer of Enrolment

What are our goals in preparing students for the ACER®, Ignite & STEM Scholarship entry tests?



To teach and train students in examination techniques, time management skills, and better exam finishing skills.
To improve core academic skills in Maths and English that are essential for the scholarship tests and entrance exams.
- Maths – Essential year 5 maths knowledge, numerical reasoning, abstract reasoning, spatial reasoning, pattern recognition, identification of relationships, and problem solving.
- English – Creative writing, persuasive writing, reading comprehension and interpretation, and humanities.
To improve students’ confidence to work under-pressure and exam conditions for best results.
