Tutors SA is South Australia’s premier private tuition institute, established in 2013. We specialise in teaching and mentoring students from Reception to Year 12 (including SACE and IB) across a broad range of subjects. Who are we looking for?

We are seeking educators and high-achievers who:

• Relevant degree qualification and/or ATAR 95.00+/Strong university GPA in English, Law, Arts, Education, or a related degree.
• Proven excellence in middle and senior school English.
• Deep conceptual understanding of textual analysis and writing structure.
• High attention to detail and structured academic thinking.

Desirable:

• Experience tutoring or mentoring students in Years 5–10 and/or senior English.
• Experience developing structured lesson materials, assessments, or writing frameworks.
• Familiarity with scholarship-style assessments and extension-level expectations.
• Ability to write clear model responses that demonstrate high-level analytical writing.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop high-quality resources aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Design structured lesson materials, extension tasks, and scholarship-style assessments.
• Create clear, model responses that demonstrate high-level analytical writing.
• Develop vocabulary-building, comprehension, and essay-writing frameworks.
• Update, expand, and generate online question banks for on-demand student access.
• Contribute to high-performance Extension and Scholarship preparation programs.
• Collaborate with our content development team to produce rigorous, results-driven materials.
