Tutors SA is South Australia’s premier private tuition institute, established in 2013. We specialise in teaching and mentoring students from Reception to Year 12 (including SACE and IB) across a broad range of subjects. With a team of over 50 qualified, passionate teaching professionals, we deliver small group and one-on-one tuition that drives long-term student success.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking educators and high-achievers who:

• Have proven excellence in senior secondary Science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent).
• Demonstrate deep conceptual understanding — not just memorisation.
• Have high attention to detail and structured thinking.

Desirable:

• Experience tutoring or mentoring students in Years 7–10 Science.
• Experience developing structured lesson materials, assessments, or question banks.
• Familiarity with extension-level and inquiry-based learning design.
• Ability to write clear, step-by-step explanations that build conceptual mastery.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop high-quality resources aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Design structured lesson materials, extension tasks, and exam-style assessments.
• Create clear, step-by-step explanations that build deep conceptual understanding.
• Develop inquiry-based activities and structured scientific thinking frameworks.
• Contribute to high-performance Extension programs.
• Collaborate with our content development team to produce rigorous, results-driven materials.
