Emma Choi

SACE & English & Maths Tutor

Emma Choi is a medical student and recipient of the Future Leaders Scholarship at Adelaide University. She is passionate about empowering students to build confidence and achieve their academic goals through personalised support and evidence-based learning strategies.

Emma graduated from high school in 2025 with a Governor of South Australia Commendation, achieving outstanding results across all of her SACE subjects: Mathematical Methods, Biology, English, Specialist Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Modern History, Research Project B, and the Headstart Scholarship Program (Human Anatomy and Physiology IA and IB) at the University of Adelaide (which is now offered through the Activate Program following the university merger).

As an accelerated student, Emma completed Stage 2 Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Biology, and English across Years 9, 10, and 11. Consequently, she has been tutoring students in Years 7-10 and SACE through both private tutoring and established tutoring organisations since 2023. Drawing on her own experience with accelerated study, Emma combines an in-depth understanding of the SACE curriculum with effective study techniques to help students maximise their academic potential.

Beyond academics, Emma has been recognised widely for her achievements in leadership and a range of co-curricular activities. She is a four-time winner of the South Australian Young Historian title through the National History Challenge, and is also an accomplished debater and public speaker, having earned accolades at the national level. These experiences have strengthened her communication and interpersonal skills, enabling her to build genuine connections with her students and support them not only with their grades, but also as a mentor throughout their learning journey.
