Sorren is a passionate and experienced tutor with a strong background across both the Sciences and Humanities. Holding a Bachelor of Anthropology/Archaeology from the University of Otago and a Diploma in Teaching Speech and Drama, she brings a well-rounded and interdisciplinary approach to her teaching. Originally from New Zealand and now pursuing further studies in Australia, Sorren is deeply committed to education and student development.
With tutoring experience dating back to the age of 17, Sorren has supported students across both primary and secondary levels. She takes a student-focused approach, tailoring her teaching to suit individual learning styles while fostering confidence, curiosity, and independence. Her background in speech and drama also allows her to effectively support students with reading comprehension, expressive writing, and building confidence in communication—particularly for those who may be shy or hesitant in the classroom.
