Sorren is a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in English, Science, and Biology, with a strong interdisciplinary background across both the Sciences and Humanities. Holding a Bachelor of Anthropology/Archaeology from the University of Otago and a Diploma in Teaching Speech and Drama, she brings a unique ability to connect scientific understanding with strong communication and analytical skills. Originally from New Zealand and now pursuing further studies in Australia, Sorren is deeply committed to education and student development.

 

With tutoring experience dating back to the age of 17, Sorren has supported students across both primary and secondary levels. She takes a student-focused approach, tailoring her teaching to suit individual learning styles while fostering confidence, curiosity, and independence. In English, she supports reading comprehension, essay writing, and communication skills, while in Science and Biology, she focuses on building clear conceptual understanding and helping students confidently apply their knowledge.
