His approach focuses on breaking down challenging concepts into clear and manageable steps while encouraging students to think independently and build confidence in their own abilities. He is also passionate about creating a supportive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. He has supported Stage 2 English students in achieving strong academic outcomes, including students who have received Merits, and enjoys helping each student work towards their individual goals.
Outside of tutoring, Ravinu is actively involved in psychology, health-related volunteering, and student representation within the university. He also volunteers at the Royal Adelaide Hospital as an Inpatient Wing Volunteer and Dementia Care Companion, experiences that have strengthened his empathy, communication, and ability to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds. His interests in psychology, neuroscience, and education continue to shape his approach to teaching, and he hopes to pursue a future career in clinical neuropsychology and neuroscience.
