Sourjo is a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemistry tutor with a strong academic and industry background. Currently completing his Master’s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Adelaide, he brings a depth of real-world experience to his teaching, supported by prior academic research at IIT Kharagpur and industry experience at Haldia Petrochemicals and in uranium processing.

With several years of tutoring experience across a range of student levels, Sourjo adopts a structured yet approachable teaching style. He specialises in Chemistry, helping students move beyond rote memorisation to develop strong conceptual understanding and analytical thinking skills. His lessons are designed to build clarity and confidence, enabling students to perform effectively in both school assessments and more advanced academic settings.

Sourjo is passionate about making complex ideas accessible and meaningful. By connecting theory to real-world applications, he helps students better understand not just how concepts work, but why they matter. His supportive approach ensures students feel guided and capable as they progress through increasingly challenging material.

Outside of academia, Sourjo is a competitive powerlifter and badminton player. The discipline, consistency, and goal-setting required in his training are values he brings into his teaching, encouraging students to develop strong work ethic and resilience in their learning.
