Introducing Elise, one of our exceptional tutors at Tutors SA, specializing in English for year 5-12 students, Maths for year 5-6 students and SACE Biology. Elise is completing her final year of a Bachelor of Forensic and Analytical Science at Flinders University in 2024.

Elise is passionate about guiding students to think creatively and critically in her English lessons, allowing them to advance their writing, comprehension and verbal reasoning. Her approach to teaching Maths is characterized by a thorough and positive atmosphere, where students are encouraged to ask questions and foster their curiosity, helping to develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. She thoroughly enjoys tutoring SACE biology, primarily through individual tuition, and helps students to first acknowledge gaps in knowledge and then improve areas of lower competence to accelerate the students comprehension, application and passion for Biology. Beyond her academic pursuits, Elise brings a wealth of experience working with children of all ages through her involvement in Scouts. She is an adult member of scouting and assists with running activities and camps, as well as teaching important life skills and mentoring youth members. Having served in various leadership positions, such as treasurer and chairperson, she understands the importance of building strong tutor-student relationships.

Her extensive experience allows her to connect with students on a personal level, to create a supportive and nurturing environment where they can thrive. As a tutor, Elise goes beyond delivering lessons and focuses on cultivating critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a love for learning in her students.
